The coffee machine was not working and one night the AC had a leak. Im sure hotel staff would have taken care of it, but I only stayed 2 nights.

We stayed in two rooms: a single room for my son and a double room for my husband and me. My son’s room, a single, was very charming—more than I had expected. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I absolutely loved the fluffy towels (we stayed at eight hotels during this trip, and yours had the best towels!). My only complaint was breakfast. We had to eat outside, which was a bit uncomfortable due to the humidity. It would have been nice to have the option to dine indoors. Also, given the hotel’s strong historical connection to Chinatown, I was expecting to see some Chinese breakfast options as well. That said, I really loved the uniqueness of your hotel, and overall it was a lovely boutique hotel experience. Thank you!

Th breakfast was good, liked the room layout especially the high ceilings made the room feel spacious. Very good for one person.

The location was bit out town centre location.

The staff were a stand out at this property. They were so warm and welcoming and very professional. The extra little touches of welcome and farewell gifts were so lovely. This property is perfect for solo travellers - the small but well appointed were ideal. The location was excellent - right across the right from the MRT and walking distance to China Town. The unique entrance to the hotel through the temple (now used as a museum displaying antiques) was another lovely touch. Breakfast was adequate for starting the day off. Would certainly stay here again when returning to Singapore.

Prior to our arrival I had a bit of trouble with communication with reservations when confirming some personal details. Only a minor issue though.

Excellent location close to Chinatown and the MRT. The room was a nice change from the standard hotel style accommodation. Breakfast was included and to be had in a neighboring cafe / restaurant. We were able to shower and freshen up before our flight home at The Clan Hotel next door. This option was volunteered to us by the friendly and helpful staff and was most appreciated.

Our room did not have a window so we lost track of time and slept in on the day of our departure. Fortunately check out time was 12pm, so we still had time to have breakfast, pack and check out.

A boutique hotel in a great location. Everything you needed in the quirky room. Staff were excellent and helped in every way possible. We will be back AAA+++

Whilst the accommodation is lovely and modern, the corridors and rooms feel a little tired. But the hotel experience overall was great.

There was a good choice of breakfast and the cafe was only a short walk from the Amoy. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Excellent location, the room was extremely boutique and was a wonderful experience to stay in. The included breakfast was wonderful and met beyond my expectations. The best part was the MRT right next to the hotel, could travel to the corners of the city with ease.

The location and the ambient. It is a very nice small hotel.

Some noise from the bars in the nearby alley can be heard at night. Not that bad, but it could be a problem for some.

Perfect location. Attentive staff. Great bed. Lovely room.

There were steps that made it difficult to move luggage and access areas of the room. Steps to climb to the bathroom. Steps down to the sleeping area.

Cozy and clean room. Access to the gym and sky-pool is available from the nearby structure.

The breakfast offered by the related restaurant has not many choices and not the most interesting options, but this is a personal opinion.

I love staying at boutique hotels when traveling and this one didn’t disappoint. Housed in a building that formerly held a temple, it provides Chinese themed rooms, super comfortable and original. Breakfast is provided at a cafe across the street.

Breakfast is very good but doesn’t offer a lot of choice (1 coffee, 1 orange juice, and 1 dish).

The location in between china town and Gardens by tye Bay made this an excellent choice for a short stay. Good and drinking on the door step. The room was compact but made exceptional use of space adding character without compromising comfort. Staff very friendly and helpful

The level of noise from the street due to being in the heart of a drinking area. Ear plugs provide if needed. However it added to character of the place. This was out of the hotels hands and as the building was original I suspect building requirements prevented sound proofing

The location of the hotel is very original, since it is located in an old former warehouse. It is super quiet although in an interesting location and close to all facilities. Staff was also fantastic! Many thanks.

I got lost trying to exit.

Everything was excellent. Had a single room, it was perfect

1) A charming hotel just next to MRT and surrounded by streets with cafes and bars. 2) Nespresso machine in room. 3) Friendly, efficient staff.

1) Breakfast was not served in the restaurant inside the building but in a cafe down the road. 2) No buffet breakfast only a limited choice ala carte and fresh orange juice was not really freshly squeezed. More like orange juice from a carton. 3) No bidet hose in WC. Having a bidet hose would have functionally helped the hotel's policy of encouraging guests to minimise toilet paper usage.

Property very convenient, basically had adjacent entry to underground for easy access. Centrally located to local eateries. Concierge staff, especially Sheirly was fantastic. Sheirly knew we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and she went out of her way with a sign and flowers along with a small cake to welcome us.

My room was very small - but again, for one night it was OK

Top location, with plenty of restaurants to dine in right at the hotel's doorstep. Very professional staff - ready to help resolve any issue.

Rooms are quite small, making it difficult to move around when travelling with two big suitcases. However, spaces are well optimised, so this is not too much of a problem.

Set inside an old temple, my single room was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodated my requests. The cost of my room was very reasonable for the quality I experienced. Would stay again.

Some rooms are very small despite claiming they are all 22sqm. Layout / setup of the rooms could be modified to be more functional for longer stays.

This is a lovely unique hotel in a great location. The professionalism and welcome of the staff at reception was excellent. The facilities are modern and high spec. My room was quiet, well air conditioned, and nice shower-bathroom facilities.

The bed was a little small but this did not affect the enjoyment of my stay.

Everything was clean. Thomas at front desk was bery kind.

We ordered 2 rooms, one was having 3 steps and it waa not comfortable .

I liked the location. I arrived at midnight, and all the restaurants were closed, but the nearby hawker centre was open. It's a great location for that reason. Also, it's fairly close to China Town and the metro.

The room is small in size, and a wash basin is in the room. Honestly, I do not mind it at all, but it might be important for others who mind such an arrangement.
