Scandic Holmenkollen Park, Oslo

Very good breakfast with a great variety. Restaurant was has quality food. Very cozy and nice hotel.

Everything! We booked a night stay for our girls trip and the hotel was breathtakingly beautiful. We arrived early and the receptionist allowed early check in without any charges! Had the most lovely room, it was spacious, the toilet was super big, super clean! The brekfast buffet was cheap and super generous! It was the best european breakfast buffet spread we had been on!

We stayed at this hotel for the second time because we enjoyed it so much on our first visit. The location in Holmenkollen is fantastic, offering stunning views over the Oslofjord and easy access to hiking and skiing. We also loved spending time in the hotel’s spa. One of the highlights for us was the food. Even though it was a buffet, which we were initially a bit sceptical about, we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was fresh, delicious, and stylishly presented. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotless, with very comfortable beds. On our last day, we had an early morning flight, and the hotel kindly prepared a breakfast to go for us in advance. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture.

Towards the end of our stay, the room felt a bit cold, and we weren’t able to adjust the temperature.

Very nice hotel recently renovated with all confort needed. It is a bit away from the metro station but it is nevertheless ok with a beautifull view on Oslo especially for the 31/12 at midnight !

Parking price is a bit high but it is common in norway

Pool access is charged for and kids have no access to pool - could easily had a two hour kids window per day and paying extra for the pool comes across incredibly cheap

2x lamps didn’t work

Hotel is conveniently located on a hillside overlooking the Oslo city, so you get to see the beautiful sunrise and sunset over the sea and city. The hotel is beautifully renovated, seamlessly merging tradition with modern style. Room was spacious and clean, lots of fresh towels were provided. There is a ski jumping centre - one of Oslo's main attractions - located just few meters from the hotel - great for sightseeing.

The hotel parking is not free, in fact it is quite expensive, which is something you should expect when traveling there.

The view, the facilities and everything

Breakfast was excellent and had many really healthy options and also Norwegian specialities. Excellent and very modern gym facilities.

Soundproofing was not that good. The spa wasn't open during my stay and that was a disappointment.

The location is amazing, and the old part of the building is very nice. Price is fair. Friendly and informative staff and services.

The double bed is just that: 2 beds, and I slipped between them when I woke up. Room was a little small.

Height difference is high, after walking up and down few days your legs will be sore. Recommend to rent a small car. Place has e-scooters, but they have strict perimeters. Covering small areas here and there. Room cleaning lagged for us the whole trip.

The restaurant was wonderful and the manager or at least the person in charge of it was fantastic. That was the best meal that we had in all of norway. We had great food everywhere but that was our number one

They're always needs to be a telephone in the room. Also the light switches are hard to figure out. For three people it was a very tight squeeze.

The location overlooking the city & the fjords are breathtaking. Åå supert! The buffet breakfast is very good. A lot of varieties. My whole family were all satisfied.

Amazing buffet in the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast and it set a very high standard for food for the rest of our travel. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom floors were heated! Beautiful view outside the hotel.

Lots of smokers in the front and the smell lingered into the lobby

I like concept,design,landscape,and very patient and polite relation of the staff.

Everything was great, just be extremely careful when filling out the form on Booking.com, otherwise you will have to deal with technical support🙂

Gorgeous views from the room on the fifth floor overlooking the harbour. Very comfortable room, which we were happy to stay in when waiting out the rain. The communal areas were very pleasant and while breakfast was extremely busy, the food on offer was wonderul. A very broad range of options that invited you to linger. This trip was very hiking focused so location was perfect for getting out onto the trails above the city. Easy access to the Nordmarka. Not a long journey into the city proper, though be warned the hill between hotel and train station is very steep.

Be aware the sauna and pool is not free but discounted for hotel guests, and prices are higher over the weekend. Dining options in the immediate area are rather limited.

The view from the hotel is amazing and the hotel itself truly surprised me for the quality of every area. It's just perfect for conferences and retreat.

The hotel is very comfortable with amazing views across the city ..Breakfast really good with lots of choice & excellent for gluten free & vegan ..Staff friendly & helpful.

Our room faced the views but was in front of the arrival area to the hotel so ..buses, coaches & drop off cars lots of the time & unable to open our curtains without folk being able to see in .. a shame because the views are fab. Housekeeping missed our room on a number of days so needed to ask for fresh towels..the staff were helpful with this & replenished from reception..

First of all, the view from the window in the Superior room is amazing on days when visibility is good. Very comfortable bed. Well-soundproofed room. Delicious breakfasts with good bread.

In my opinion, it would be worth informing hotel guests not to have heated business discussions in front of the hotel at night. It wasn't too much of a nuisance, but it's worth mentioning. A tiny minus - the shampoo was average, and the towels could have been a little nicer.

The location is beautiful. The historic and iconic style of the hotel is amazing! The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Loved it. Would love to come again
