I highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are very pleasant, and above all, the staff are fantastic and will help you with anything you need. I had a wonderful stay in Taipei, and Mei and her colleagues played a big part in that. Thank you all!

The room was comfortable and clean. The location is also nice because it's near Syntrend and the surrounding neighborhood was nice with lots of food spots. The metro station is around a 12 min walk from this hotel.

The front desk waa very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Free laundry ia available.

Noise. Rooms are not quite not good insulated though during our stay I was able to sleep. During breakfast the staff are very quick in cleaning up, I still was eating and came back my plate is gone; defeats the purpose of the card they give the guests to indicate if they are done eating. For the rest everything was good.

The service from the female front desk staff (particularly Mei) was excellent! The best we had encountered during our stay in Taiwan. The ladies were friendly and hospitable from the moment we stepped into the hotel. They remembered details about us and our plans, and made us feel like we weren’t just another number. We also appreciated the complimentary access to the in-house washing machine. Although we didn’t make use of it, we liked that the hotel had complimentary afternoon tea every day and complimentary instant noodles available every night. The food at the breakfast buffet was nice and we appreciated that it was different every day. The coffee/tea cups were stored in a cup warmer - that excellent attention to detail of having a warm cup available for coffee/tea is reflective of the fantastic hospitality we experienced during our time at Ambience.

The bed was very firm (too firm for us) but the ladies at the front desk were excellent in suggesting and organising a work around to make the bed softer. Would be better if the hotel had softer beds or at least, mattress toppers available. The hotel is about a 15 mins walk from the nearest MRT station which can get a bit annoying after a long and tiring day of walking.

Extremely comfortable room - spacious with lovely big bath and shower and very thoughtful design ( we had a corner room with bath). Staff were exceptional! Incredibly warm and extremely helpful! Breakfast was terrific! Excellent selection of daily changing hot vegetable and meat dishes, hot rice or noodle dish daily, dumplings, eggs, salad bar , and lovely selection of breads. Toaster and small oven available. Good coffee. Good location with metro 10 minutes walk away and a myriad of good restaurants within easy walking distance.

extremely friendly and courteous staff whom always made sure you feel welcome after a long day out exploring the city. This experience is consistent throughout my stay there and even my parents were impressed. Facilities were clean and the size of the room honestly is great for its price.

This was the best accommodation we had in Taiwan. The staff were excellent and the hotel provides heaps of nice touches such as some free minibar items, free breakfast, great variety of little snacks that are available during the day and night and also access to tea/coffee machine 24/7. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We couldn't fault it.

It was a bit further out from some of the touristy areas but still walkable.

Very clean safe professional welcoming hotel. Staff were very attentive every day. Room was comfortable in size for a solo traveller and could have easily accommodated 2 guests. I loved being able to just wander around exploring local life and catch buses as I felt the need.

It's a bit over priced in comparison to others of similar quality in Taipei. The location was good for me but won't suit all Western tourists because it's not central or well connected with MRT - you need to be happy to walk a little and/or catch local buses.

Amazing staff and service. All day snack / drinks. After 9 it changes - there was sangria on the first night we stayed and oden the second night. Staff service was top notch. Nice selection for breakfast

Room is very clean and spacious with super friendly staff members. Breakfast spread was good and it's located near a lot of good eateries and is only a short walk to shopping area. Overall great value for money.

Breakfast was exceptional. Different dishes every morning. The mix of Asian and Western choices were perfect. Location was also very good and close to everything. The reception staff, especially "Mei" was excellent. Everybody was very helpful and friendly.

Perhaps a second washer and dryer would be even better.

The room was compact but had everything I needed. The shower was hot and worked well, the bathtub too. I'm not sure I would bother getting a corner room next time, because the glass walls are frosted over, so you don't get any kind of wraparound view I would expect, and most of the extra square footage is a big bathroom. The free laundry is awesome, you don't even need to bring your own detergent. Just be careful of the time the laundry room closes or your clothes will be taken down to the front desk. Front desk staff was helpful and breakfast was not extensive, but everything they provided was a good choice and good quality. It's nice they have things available on off hours, like coffee, instant noodles, cookies, etc. And there are some good restaurants nearby, convenience stores, of course, and even some great massage places, including a 24h one!

I don't think the A/C-heating in my room worked well. The walls in my room were completely bare -- just one piece of artwork would make the place feel more homey. The fancy lamp was nice though.

We had a fantastic experience at Ambience Hotel Taipei and would highly recommend it! The overall room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay very pleasant. We also appreciated the wide variety of shows available to watch. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options to choose from, and most items were enjoyable. On top of that, the hotel thoughtfully provides snacks (like biscuits) and beverages throughout the day, including a coffee machine and tea. Even more impressive, there were cup noodles available at night, a very thoughtful and welcoming touch! The staff truly made our stay special. The front counter staff greeted us warmly before we left for the day's activities and even asked if we wanted bottled water. Housekeeping staff were equally polite, always checking in to see if we needed housekeeping. We also made use of the laundry facilities. Although there is only one washing machine, both the washer and dryer are free of charge, which is very convenient. What really stood out was the staff’s thoughtfulness - when our clothes were still drying past the designated laundry hours (10am to 9pm), they brought our laundry down and continued the drying cycle for us without us even asking. Overall, the service was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Ambience Hotel Taipei truly lives up to its name, and we would return to stay here again.

It's a bit far away from metro stations. Ok for us, but could be challenging for people who do not want to walk for at least 15 min to the nearest station.

Great value for money … but what stood out for me was the extreme professionalism and efficiency with the front office from check in to arranging sightseeing tours with very experienced drivers. A special mention of MS MEI who went out of her way in accommodating all our requests … sightseeing and a late check out THANK YOU MEI

We spent 4 nights in Ambience hotel. The whole family felt extremely comfortable here. Staffs are extremely friendly, caring and helpful, speak English well. 24/7 coffee machine & light snacks, free instant noodle from 9PM which creates a homey vibe in the dining lounge. Room sizes are good compared to normal Taipei hotel. I can tell the hotel is not very new but well maintained and clean. Around 7mins walk to the nearest MRT station, 15mins from Fu Hang Soy Milk.

Breakfast was excellent and large. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and quit and AC worked well. Location, even if aprox 2km from Main station, still had good public transport options. Wifi ok.

Furniture slightly worn. Not a secure WiFi. A small gym is not a must but would have been appreciated.
