Staff were so friendly & informative. Room was spotless. Breakfast was lovely. Cocktails amazing! Only wish they served light meals we would of stayed there all evening.

Every surface and fixture showed serious thought and was beautiful to look at. The light reflecting off the water onto the ceiling in our room was delightful, calm and helped me drift off to sleep peacefully.

Breakfast was lovely, served by the ever attentive Toni and her team. It was a most enjoyable and relaxing stay and highly recommended.

Staff were great; very helpful and attentive. We were given a free room upgrade which was a nice surprise too. Great location with regular tram service, although not too far to walk into the city centre if the weather is nice.

There was a decent continental breakfast but no gluten free options readily available.

The attention to detail was outstanding. Staff service was exceptional & they all looked fantastic in uniform. Nothing was too much bother. The boat was immaculate & in keeping with tradition. Decore well thought out. Perfect relaxing stay

A unique experience aboard Ocean Mist. We could not fault anything. Comfortable, highly serviced cabin, delicious continental breakfast. All staff were welcoming, cheery and attentive. The bar was well stocked, delicious cocktails with snacks. Parking was close by which was chargable but very convenient.

This is a beautiful hotel, it is very clean and very comfortable.The staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. It is a very enjoyable stay, the bar is comfortable and a lovely place to spend some time.

It would be nice if there were opportunities for a hot breakfast, but the continental style did the job!

Unique setting, really friendly staff who could not do enough for us. Old world vibe with lots of facilities nearby.

The only slight disappointment was the view from the portal window of a wall - but we knew we were staying on a boat and that the views were not likely to be spectacular.

The breakfast was lovely. We thought we were going to get a hot breakfast but the continental choices were lovely. Salmon, cheese, cereals, toast and pastries.

We would have liked to have had a meal on the boat.

We had a wonderful stay. The team decorated our room for my fiancés birthday and it was so lovely. We stayed in January and expected it to be chilly but the room was so warm and toasty - with aircon if needed. All the staff were lovely and we had the best time. So many lovely little touches to make it really special.

The location was perfect, great walks all around, and breakfast was really good - I loved the yogurt cups and found the breakfast room (which is also a lounge at other times) just lovely. We were there at Christmas time, and the ship was decorated in a lovely way. We were touched by the thoughtfulness of the welcome - a Christmas stocking and enjoyed an afternoon sunset drink, which was beautiful.

The staff were all lovely, very polite, friendly and approachable. The room was beautifully clean. The options at the bar were extensive and the breakfast was the best we've had for a continental. Outstanding all round.

A unique and creative stay in the charming Leith docks with a plethora of nearby restaurants and easy travel on the trams for exploring the city.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that our stay was a success, nothing was too much trouble and we had a super time staying on the Ocean Mist. The staff pointed out that Edinburgh Castle could be seen from the bar on the boat and invited us to join them and other residents to ring in the New Year and to watch the fireworks. It was such an enjoyable and unforgettable New Year celebration. From arrival to leaving we were looked after and the 4* continental breakfasts were very nice too.

There was nothing that we didn't like and we would book again. We have recommended it to friends.

The heating in our room did make quite loud knocking noises during the night however, this is the only thing we were unsatisfied with and could easily be fixed.

Great location and good facilities, staff were very friendly with some lovely personal touches such as a letter for guests on arrival.

The location was excellent, close to buses and the tram,plenty of restaurants and pub's close as well. The staff made the stay memorable with their enthusiasm and helpfulness. Room was well appointed, clean and fresh.

The staff were excellent and friendly, my partner had mobility issues and the staff on duty at the reception recognised it straight away and politely changed our room to a room better suited for people with mobility issues which made her enjoy the stay even more. The staff were happy to give you a history of the hotel and its different owners throughout the years. I would definitely recommend it if you want to stay in a hotel with a different experience.
