the room was very charming and quiet despite a perfect location in District 1, every place to visit is at walking distance and may restaurants around. The breakfast is amazing with a great variety of cheese, fresh fruit juices and delicatessen .

This was a really cool property, the architecture and decor are definitely worth checking out. Staff was amazing, there was a mixup with hotel airport pickup, but staff quickly addressed it, and took care of us. Cocktails and food at bar were also unique and delicious.

The location, the architecture and detail in each hallway and room was so well thought out. The Guest Experience team made our stay so special with thoughtful touches and superior service.

The atmosphere, design, comfort, and authentic hospitality, this place is an absolute gem. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We loved our 2 night stay at The Myst. I had seen people use the word ‘quirky’ to describe it in other reviews, and I didn’t quite know what to expect. It’s such a lovely hotel! Beautifully decorated with such character. The design of the building and internal decorating is so well done. We found the staff really friendly and helpful. We traveled to Vietnam for our wedding anniversary and got a lovely surprise when we arrived to find our room specially decorated! Would definitely recommend.

I found that we had a long walk or a grab ride to many of the places we wanted to visit. It wasn’t a huge issue but there wasn’t a great deal in the immediate area we wanted to see. Having said that, the area is upmarket, clean and nice and quiet compared to other parts of the city, so a nice escape from the hustle and bustle.

The location was fantastic. Easily walkable to every part of Ho Chi Minh City what are you gonna say? We stayed for five nights and every night it was great coming back walking through the beautiful lobby stopping for a drink or just hanging out. The cleaning staff left us great fruit including dragon fruit, and a really nice note. They seem to provide all the things that we needed. Lots of freshwater fruit help when we asked.

We actually liked everything about our stay. Our room didn’t have a great view, but they made that very clear on the website and that is the room we chose so that was fine. We did have an outside hot tub, which was great to have.

It’s rare to find a hotel that effortless strikes the perfect balance between traditional & cool..snd the Myst does that ! Superb location, amazing staff, delicious food & cocktails and supercool rooftop pool, bar & dj. Utter perfection !

I booked this hote because I like the architect who designed it and after the stay, i do like his work. Foods are good at this hotel! Keep it up!

The sewage smell coming from WC

Exceptional in every way. A small boutique luxury hotel, so different from the massive international hotel chains that all look the same. Real character, beautiful design, amazingly comfy rooms, fab staff and the most delicious breakfast. The pool on the rooftop is stunning too. Absolutely the best!

Nothing at all, stayed 3 nights, travelled around Vietnam and then came back for more!

The hotel is in a great location in District 1, close to lots of sights and great restaurants. The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the staff were so courteous and helpful. We left a bag with them while we travelled to the Mekong Delta for a couple of days and had a local laundry collect our service wash and deliver back to the hotel in our absence. Nothing was an inconvenience or too much trouble. The pool and rooftop bar are an added bonus.

Location, balcony with view

Really nice hotel in Saigon and very well situated. The room was genuinely cute, and the bubble bath on the little balcony was a great touch.

The only small difference compared to our other stays: the staff felt a bit less warm, and the clientele leaned a little too glam “look at me” for our taste.

Great location, neat and funky retro Vietnam vibe, lovely pool bar with delicious cocktails. Rooms were so comfortable while still retaining nostalgic character and luxury. None of that big hotel chain corporate sterile feel.

The hotel is catering to those guests who are appreciative of the minimalist Indochine style of the early-to-mid 20th century Saigon, portraying old Saigon nostalgia, while at the same time embracing Vietnam's independence, especially independence from the decadent and self-serving U.S. influence. The old furnishings and artistic memorabilia are reminiscent of Saigon's Old Charme, and the hotel has, with that choice of style, definitely carved out a niche for itself The rooms are large and inspire warmth and comfort, even though some guests may be missing a cushion here and there on the wooden bench surfaces.... The breakfast buffet is a standout, both in terms of diversity and the quality of the individual food items. I was unfortunately not staying long enough to utilize all of the hotel's fantastic amenities. We would book this hotel again, and can whole-heartedly recommend it to those who are likewise appreciative of the stylistic features of the Old Saigon of the early-to-mid 20th century.

There is no legitimate reason to be critical, since deliberately installed old furnishings of yesteryear sometimes lack the functionality of contemporary equipment. In our case, the jacuzzi jets did not work, but we nevertheless enjoyed the huge bath tub. ..

The architecture of the hotel is beautiful! Extremely cared in details, nice atmosphere, great staff and location.

The staff were exceptional, so helpful. The rooms were lovely. The pool and rooftop bar were perfect for relaxing after a tour of Vietnam. It’s close to the centre with attractions bars and restaurants close by.

Wonderful stay, the hotel is not only 5 star service but also full of history. very special place. the rooms are very well decorated, the breakfast absolutely amazing, the rooftop pool and bar really cool. perfect cocktails. the bar at the ground floor wonderfully decorated and with super nice staff. we really loved our staying and hope to come back one day. Location is perfect to visit Saigon.

The location was fine, but I could not make a comparison to other locations. The design and decor was quirky - we liked the rustic feel! The bed was very comfortable and my wife approved of my choice of hotel (which is difficult to obtain!) so we were all happy.

The property was very quaint. Beautifully decorated with the old and new. The pool and the bar on the 14th floor was exceptional. So was the breakfast. So much variety that changed daily . Rooms were spacious and very aesthetically appealing in a unique way. Actual hotel is better in person than the pics.

The bar on the 14th floor was a little hard to access. The Spa in the room could use a good clean especially the jets. Overall, these are 1st world issues. The place was almost perfect.

The location,the breakfast,the swimming pool,the shower and toilet.

The jacuzzi was not disinfected so at trying to use it we were exposed to some very unpleasant odor and had to rush out of it for hygienic reasons of course!

This was my second stay a the hotel and it was again lovely. Fantastic breakfast and tea time moment. The location is fantastic and I will surely come back again.

I loved the style - no doubting that you’re in Vietnam. Gorgeous artwork by Vietnamese artists. Beautiful decor.

Not quiet. The room doors are heavy and close very loudly with a slam which can wake you up in the night when other guests on the same floor are out late.

Breakfast was incredible, fabulous staff that surprised us with some very cute surprises for our honeymoon. Rooftop pool was lovely, great cocktails, great location.

The room smelled of dampness which did away from the luxury experience. It might have been nice to have a scent in the room to help with this and elevate the experience.

The staff and everything has been amazing.

The bathtub wasn't cleaned very thoroughly, but everything else was perfect.

We love the style and decor of the room and hotel, from the lobby, to the bar, to the rooms itself, it feels very chic and "Vietnam". We didn't want your basic, typical, all white modern hotel, or your super old colonial style hotel, but something that felt local, traditional, stylish, artful, while still being cozy, and modern. We had a very comfortable stay. And were impressed.

Not much to critique, I do wish there was more local cuisine offered at the breakfast buffet, and less western food. There was pho, there was banh mi, steamed rolls, even dim sum, but I wish there was banh mi xiu mai and other local dishes for breakfast. Also we had the outdoor tub/jacuzzi in our room, and while it was very nice and atmospheric to be out there, relaxing, very cool and great vibes, the jacuzzi wasnt the cleanest, some build up on the walls, and the jets dont seem to clean.
