Virgin Hotel, Las Vegas

Room was clean and very spacious. Upgraded room was very nice with modern decor. Bed was very comfortable.

TV did not work. Phone light kept blinking. Slot machines were very tight. Lighting in room was very confusing to control.

The room was very comfortable. The location was away from the Strip but not too far. The staff was very nice. Favorite place to get a bite to eat was Pizza Forte…extremely good food and wonderful staff!

Was not aware of how the “do not disturb” or “make up room” signal worked. Our room was not made up for two days and could not figure out why. Wish we were told about the signal light at check-in.

The property is clean and well decorated. We look forward to using the pools, when they’re open, on future stays.

The room's lighting controls can be confusing and sensitive.

Good location, nice facilities and big rooms.

I booked and paid for a king room and was given a double queen room that had an adjoining room. The people in the other room were having quite loud conversations at night, and because just having a door in between, I could clearly hear their conversations, as if they were in the room with me.

Friendly staff at reception. We were upgraded to suite room + late check-out at no extra charge. Very happy and will come back next time we’re in Vegas.

Like the location and the facilities. It's clean and there is no smoking in the casino area like in other hotels in the city. Room is very spacious.

While I know the room I booked was a certain category, I asked if we could get a higher floor or a different room. The answer was a straight "no" due to a sold out night. While I understand the category I paid was the one I got, the hotel was def not sold out (there are no sold out hotels in Vegas, especially during low season), so there was no effort made in this regard, simply a denied request. They provided a $50 credit, which is OK but it forces you to eat there so you can use it. Finally, they had asked me beforehand what was the occasion of my trip and the answer was an anniversary, they set the expectation they'd do something nice for us (so I didnt plan anything), only to find that the staff simply promised and underdelivered.

The room was very good and I was imemdiately changed when I told the staff there was too much noise outside the room I was assigned to.

Beautiful rooms

Convenient to the airport. My wife was happy about the room.

No refrigerator or coffee maker. Pool was under repair. Some of the furniture in the common areas was a little dirty, also the carpets.

Probably one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. Loved the vanity and the door separating the room from the bathroom. Also, the phone charging pad was helpful!!!

Nothing particularly special about this hotel and certainly nothing in the hotel worth eating for breakfast. But there are places nearby.

Really clean and spacious rooms, which made for a comfortable stay altogether. The rooms are also pretty modern considering the price point, which is a plus. We also appreciated the self-checkout process.

The location is off the strip, of course, but as long as you're planning for that it shouldn't be an issue (taxis are easy enough and we even walked to the strip once).

The room floors were dirty I work my socks right after the shower and not even 10 minutes later the bottoms were gross, and the beds still have hair from people underneath all the sheets they put down

Great place to stay the night - the rooms are updated and furnished with style. I loved the table between 2 queen beds in our room. Free parking is also a plus.

A/C was blowing air directly at the bed and the thermostat had only 2 modes: auto and off, which didn’t allow us to adjust it to a comfortable temperature/fan combo. Dogs are not allowed to relief themselves on the artificial grass that is in front of the elevators. My pup and I were literally running towards official pet relief area by following the signs that led us from Opal tower all the way through the casino (which smelled awfully btw) and he barely made it.

The room was absolutely fantastic! It had everything you could possibly need, with all the amenities you’d expect. There’s a sensor-controlled minibar (both on the cupboard and in the mini fridge), so DO NOT touch anything unless you plan to consume it, as the sensors notify reception immediately and you’ll be charged. That said, the bed was hands down one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Easily a 10/10, would absolutely recommend!

The only downside is the walking distance to the Strip.

It’s not on the strip, it’s a pro and con - a walk is about 30 minutes but it’s nice not to be in the middle of everything

The room was clean but outdated. It needs an update and the patio gate was padlocked which I’m pretty sure is a fire hazard. What is the point of a gate to the pool area if you can’t open it?

It is a bit dingy looking throughout. It needs an update for sure. I do like the retro furniture and the coffee shop was great!! It looks thrown together and disjointed in the main lobby and halls.

The casino, while not crowded, had a fair amount of annoying distractions from the service staff.

Convince and free parking. The staff was nice and the beach style pool was nice. The outdoor area with games was great! The bathroom was huge and loved the separate toilet area. Coffee bar was good but crazy long line.

My kids were swimming / standing in the pool and I was getting yelled at to be in the water with them. They were not doing anything besides walking around. I was in a lounge chair relaxing. Very annoying. Also the rooms were not that clean. Couch had stains all over it and I did not feel comfortable using it until I covered it with towels. Floor was dirty and so wash the tub. The smoothie place took forever to get through a few orders which made it a ridiculous wait time over 30 mins. The breakfast “buffet” was probably the worst I have seen. No choices, extremely limited, no service, mold on the drink machines, and Rock hard pastries.

Loved staying off the strip. Great that there is a Dunkin in the hotel and the other restaurants had good food and reasonable prices. Huge rooms for the price. Could easily walk across the street to get to other restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy, etc

Not a big deal but thermostat was odd. Would blow heat followed by a/c all night, instead of just heat which would switch off when it got to set temperature
