Overall, the hotel met our expectations and we enjoyed our stay. The room and common areas were clean, and frequent housekeeping was a clear advantage. Everything essential worked well and the atmosphere was pleasant.

There were not enough glasses in the room. For four people it was difficult to have coffee or tea comfortably. In addition, the electric kettle did not work, so we had to boil water in a pot, which was inconvenient.

Location is great... Right in the Rua das Flores! The hotel is super cute and confortable. The room was very spacious for the 4 of us.

Temperature control in the room was not working properly but not an issue as there were extra blankets.

We had asked for twin room/apartment but double allocated. We had to utilise the sofa bed in the lounge area which meant we lost that relaxing space. Booked taxi through Booking.com for airport transfers, wasn’t stressed (enough) that only some taxis can drive to hotel, so we had to walk with our cases, ok if you are fit!

Good location, just 10 min walking to the tour meeting point ! we have coffee machine in the room and a little fridge ! And they borrowed us umbrellas !!

There is not a walking shower and you have to keep your balance to get in, so it was a little dangerous and it was nor a safety handle !!

We loved the location. It was not possible to get all the way to the hotel by car since it is on a pedestrian only street. The taxi stopped about 3 blocks away. Ok by us, so just to let folks know. The room was spacious, clean, and charming. The staff was great, before and during the stay. Very responsive.

I disliked two things. The lighting in the room was dim, with low wattage yellow bulbs. Great for mood but not for reading anything. Then we had booked the spa and paid extra for it. But the sauna was broken, and the water in the pool was only 32 degrees. Pretty chilly. Not comfortable at all. The staff said that Portuguese law said that it couldn't be hotter. The steam room worked. But had I known these facts we would not have booked it. I feel that the staff should have told us the situation and asked if we wanted to cancel the spa experience. And we booked the hotel because we really wanted the spa after a long travel day.

Location is fantastic, easy to access all the main attractions of Porto, very close to the beautiful Sao Bento train station. The rooftop garden area is an unexpected delight. The spacious apartments whilst having hotel facilities is winner . Staff are extremely helpful.

The location was undeniably perfect; walk out of the main entrance and you were swept immediately onto the busiest cobblestone thoroughfare, plunged directly into the din and drama of the historic tourist area. This convenience meant that every sight and noisy trattoria was within arm’s reach, yet it made the strange serenity of the room all the more remarkable. Our particular sanctuary was an architectural anomaly, situated on the fourth floor but opening, believe it or not, into a sprawling, lush urban garden.

Because we stayed in a Villa, we didn’t use the restaurant for breakfast. We had a lovely kitchen with everything we needed and a full size fridge. The size of the villa was great and we enjoyed looking over the garden having afternoon drinks on our upstairs deck.

Can’t think of anything to make it better.

- Perfect location for exploring Porto’s old town - There’s a grocery store (My Auchan) and a laundry service just nearby, which was really convenient - The room was spacious enough to fit three suitcases comfortably and even had a small kitchen inside - Breakfast was good, and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful

Location and staff were great. Also liked the terrace bar. Very quiet and had a nice view of the tower and city.

We stayed in room 101 which is above a restaurant. Music playing until 11pm so not good if you’re early too bed. Staff will call for them to turn the music down but you can still hear the beat. So hotel is great just don’t stay in room 101.

Location is great for walking and rooms are big, water pressure is amazing and best breakfast right across the street at Mercador. We loved the street performers singing on the square in front of Traca where we enjoyed a great steak. The front desk helped us book our 6 bridges tour on the water.

Some smells from the bathroom, inconvenient to catch an uber or bolt to the train station . We had asked the front desk where we could go for ice and he told us to go to the bar and they charged us 2 euros . When we got upstairs, we saw we had ice in the freezer so they should have told us this.

ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT HOTEL! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel! It’s dead center, right in the heart of old town, dreamy, Porto! Close to everything, but about all the views you get from the villa!

The lighting in the room was poor so the room gets very dark in night time. Lack of utensils in the kitchen.

A wonderful place in the heart of Porto — as if you step off the small streets and suddenly find yourself in a palace with its own fountains and gardens. The room was very cozy, spread across two floors! The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The location is the best in the city, close to everything you could possibly want to see or do!

The location was excellent. Right in the middle of all the action yet it wasn’t too loud in the room at night. The room itself was unexpectedly large! A separate bedroom and then a pull out couch with the kitchen area. We were very impressed! The front desk staff were so kind and helpful.

Breakfast was too expensive, they charged 15 Euros even for kids. The spread didn’t look that great for the money they charged.

Luxurious property in the center of all action easy walk to activities restaurant sunset spot and river. One of the best looking properties I’ve ever stayed in my life probably… Breakfast delicious luxurious and good value fast prompt service. Maria front desk 5 stars. Helpful friendly went above and beyond her way to explain attractions and travel info.

Noisy around 7-8 am happened to be construction of the store across the street. Also stays noisy/action til 10 pm. Once at night every night British people passing by singing songs loudly or cursing/talking/laughing after midnight… didn’t the Queen teach them some manners?! I mean come on! All others keep it quiet! I’ll make sure to do the same if I ever pass by through England. Though no desire somehow… even locals in Lagos were mentioning how the Brits ruin the value with their behavior…

Amazing art deco hotel looking over the streets of Porto. A really amazing location and spacious apartment for 4. Also has an amazing roof top bar and garden with great views over the city.

Shame that all of the spa, swimming pool options were extra.
