We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect - close to everything we needed, with easy access to attractions, restaurants, and public transport. It made exploring the area so convenient and enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Everything was well organized and made us feel at home. A special thank you to the staff - they were incredibly friendly, professional, and always open for communication. They were helpful with recommendations and made sure all our questions were answered promptly. Overall, a great experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The decor in the hotel was very chic, extending to the rooms which are comfortable, clean and have everything you need for a city stay. Location is very good too, being right next to the entrance for the U3 subway. The main city sights of the Rathaus, Kunst museum, Hofburg palace with the Sissi museum and Spanish horses are all in relatively easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and very helpful. As vegetarians in a city of enthusiastic meat eaters, reception gave us two excellent recommendations for places to eat. All together a great two night stay. I would recommend and return.

The associated restaurant on the top floor is a great place for breakfast, but this is the only public space of any size.

The location and the hotel is amazing, but there is no room surface like other hotels that I knew so you will have to help yourself if you want towels or water or anything

Just completely magnificent. Staff were fantastic the room and facilities exceeded our expectations. Great location. Definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like

I loved the location! Literally right beside the underground. We were steps away from shops and restaurants. The decor in the hotel and rooms is so so pretty. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were great to and a lovely touch. We did not get to use the relaxation area but we have a look at it and it looked really nice. The staff where so friendly and helpful and were able to ask any questions we had

The only negative I had was it took over 5minutes for my shower to heat up.. but apart from this I have no issues or complaints at all

Lovely decoration and very quiet rooms, everything has a feeling of luxury and warmth

I loved the decor and the quality of the finishes. The food and service were impeccable. The facilities (fitness area) were beautiful and relaxing as well. The location was great, though not central, public transportation was very close and easy to use. I loved the little touches in the room, like the toiletries and snacks.

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of top sheets as I would get hot and sweaty at night and had no thin layer as an option. The wall along the sink under the mirror, did not seem clean.

It was such an incredible Hotel! Highly recommend it

Our shower pipes were a bit broken and it was notified to the staff but nothing was done.

Room, location, customer service were all excellent. There was also a sauna and wellness area, free apples :) and a personalised welcome for my birthday stay.

The temperature control in the room was tricky to work out but the room was warm and toasty - great in winter

Beautiful entrance and lobby. Wonderful room and very clean.

There wasn't a single thing I didn't like. The people were kind, the vibes were great, and the location was perfect. It was a bit of a long walk from the Belvedere and other museums, but nothing unmanageable.

The most beautifully styled hotel! The decor was out of this world.. even down to the light switches.

The property location is perfectly situated near Mariahilferstrasse, had a close parking garage (hard to find in the city!), and is BEAUTIFULLY designed and decorated. The cherry on top is the gorgeous restaurant on the top floor with views overlooking the city. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Really lovely hotel with beautiful decor and a great location. Everything felt stylish and comfortable. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend.

We had an issue where our shower flooded but the staff were so helpful in sorting this

It was unique, stylish, and memorable. The bakery was out of this world. They even came around with a cart of free drinks to your room in the evening! You could tell every last detail of this hotel was well-thought out, and the customer service was exceptional.

Most things I wanted to go to were about a 15-20 minute walk, which was fine.

The aesthetics of the hotel/rooms and the restaurant. Also the location is great with lots of hip locations around (Bistro Fantasy etc). I loved the cocktail/drinks offers going through the hotel corridor ✨

I’ve found the two gym machines too little, they - in my opinion - should be replaced with non-manual machines and also one cross trainer. Also, the spa door should be always closed to the gym as it unnecessarily heats up the gym.

Lovely staff, unique funky decor, lovely rooms. The hotel manager made us all homemade cookies on Christmas and they were delicious and so thoughtful!!

If you like to leave your windows open maybe ask to be on the back side of the building. Beautiful view from the front but on a major bus route and is loud all through the night. It's mostly ok with the windows shut.

Staff were great and we loved the cocktail served to our room. The top floor restaurant was excellent. Our room was compact but worked well.

The location was a bit out of the way, but it was helpful to have the metro right at our doorstep. Our son's room was very small. We were disappointed not to be able to use the spa on Saturday due to a private party on the top floor.

Very nice and stylish boutique hotel with great amenities. The staff from check-in, to the restaurant where very friendly and helped with any queries. The location is perfect for a city visit.

The rooms were comfortable and well equipped and the restaurant although I recommend booking for dinner as we couldn’t get a suitable table either evening was excellent for breakfast.

Reception were distant and didn’t bother to look up from their pc’s on leaving and returning to the hotel which I think for a tourist accommodation provider ime helps make a little difference to your stay for guests or maybe it’s the Austrian culture perhaps.

We didnt take breakfast we used the Motto deli. However we did eat on the 7th floor restaurant, Chez Bernard one evening and has an excellent meal with superb service.

There was very little to change. The only minor thing would be to change the coffee cups in the hotel rooms to ones which have handles, or provide guests with gloves!

Staff are exceptioal, dinner at Chez Bernard was fantastic and the breakfast for two was delightful. Location is excellent for local restaurants and the metro line.

Great location , rooms were so lovely and had everything you could wish for - the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in anywhere! Very easy to access airport by train, walkable distance to a lot of Christmas markets, nice cafe Ritter across the road

We enjoyed four very comfortable nights here. The hotel is in an excellent location right next to an underground station, with easy access to the attractions of the city and the airport. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable, and the hotel staff go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. We would definitely come here again!

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Staff were incredible. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful hotel, the ambience was perfect for us as a couple. The reception staff are all wonderful. So helpful and fun. The bar was just a beautiful place to end each evening, relaxed, but vibrant. Wonderful staff to chat to.

Breakfast at Chez Bernard was exceptional, lots to choose from and excellent quality. Staff were first class, always with a smile, polite and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail beyond belief, at breakfast even the straws matched your juice/smoothie. Lovely touch, Santa left a small sack of goodies on our door one morning, contained, a lindt santa, waffers, satsumas and monkey nuts with a label on saying 'hohoho'. Decor of the hotel was fabulous, EVERYTHING you could wish for. Mini bar so well stocked. The TV behind a mirrored cabinet was pure genius. Loved the materialled walls so luxurious. A glass of fizz on arrival was such a lovely touch, whilst we checked in. Location was perfect, most sights within walking distance and right next door to the train, could not hear anything, so well sound proofed. Slippers and robes supplied. Would recommend booking Chez Bernard's it is so popular and well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed. The hotel arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel, made transfer so easy.

As Chez Bernard's is so popular, it would be nice to have a guest lounge to relax.

Loved my stay! The hotel has a unique, beautifully curated décor, and the spacious room was full of charm. The rooftop is stunning — perfect for a quiet morning coffee with a view. The staff were warm and genuinely helpful, and the whole place feels both luxurious and cozy. Great location too. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Motto. The boutique style gives the whole place a special charm, and the little touches like the surprise Santa Klaus gift made it feel even more personal and thoughtful. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with public transport right on the doorstep, making it super easy to get around. Everything was spotless and well maintained throughout our stay. The restaurant is fabulous from delicious breakfasts to great dinners and lovely evening cocktails, it quickly became one of our favourite spots. We truly felt well looked after, as the staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Our room had this glam, cute vibe and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, Hotel Motto exceeded our expectations, and we’d happily stay again!

Great location to explore the city. Rooms were wonderfully appointed, beds super comfy & esthetic very appealing to the eye! Extremely close to Ubahn station too!

Shelf in the toilet room would have been nice.

The little touches were great. I loved the decor and the staff was so helpful.

The room was so hot. They turn the AC off in the winter and we had to open the window to the loud street below to cool it off.

My room was very lovely, the decorations are really nice

The bathroom had a very weird smell and i did address it to the staff but nothing happened. There was one receptionist that wasn’t very friendly, barely smiled and did not make me feel comfortable. Maybe the staff needs more training on how to be hospitable and welcoming. The location is not the best in Vienna. Most of the main attractions are almost 20-30 mins away.

Everything about this stay was amazing, celebrating my birthday here was the best decision! Thanks to jennifer and the team for being super friendly and delightful!

This is a gem of a hotel in Wien Location staff and the location of the hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and bars The room was excellent I had a very quiet room on the top floor. Staff was always helpful with questions.
