perfect staycation

Great room and amazing hospitality by the staffs. Breakfast and dinner buffets are amazing. Would recommend this place for sure!

i was there for a conference so i stayed for several days. food was good. service was good. staff was polite. bed was good. room was clean. pool was clean. gym was good. cannot think of anything bad. ah. except sometimes the card key does not work well at the elevator only after several times. meanwhile i must say they maintained it well, reminds me of the Singapore Raffles Hotel. Beautiful property.

i do not think this is a bad review but i think the aircon outside *meaning corridors and meeting rooms - is quite cold, so i think maybe they can sustain the aircon to be like 24 or 25 degrees and maybe can save electricity. also the fans and aircon was full blast early in the morning where traffic is light, so that also waste electricity...dunno- maybe is just me, being energy saving conscious.

Always love the mixture of old warm charm and modern facilities. We had the high tea in the orchid conservatory which was beautiful.

Warmer temperature on the hot water plus the air conditioning in the corridors is extremely cold.

Stayed at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur over the weekend and had a really pleasant experience. The service stood out from the start – the staff were consistently polite and attentive, and I really appreciated being given a room on the highest floor with a beautiful night view of KLCC. The hotel has a charming colonial vibe, from the architecture to the interior design, which gives it a very distinctive character compared to more modern properties. Breakfast was another highlight, with an extensive spread ranging from classic Western options to a good variety of local cuisines, so there was always something interesting to try.

The only downside is that the hotel does feel a bit old in parts, but in a way that also adds to its unique charm and character rather than being a major drawback. Overall, it was a memorable stay and I’d happily come back.

I went I twice to the spa center but too bad, is not open or what. My gf willing to try for spa. Hope that next time visit can try again.

We upgraded to a grand suite, and it was certainly grand! Staff were helpful, professional and friendly. Good location for access to local museums, Chinatown and the city centre, with a train station nearby. The 4th floor pool is a great asset.

Lovely old hotel with comfortable rooms and a big tub. Breakfast buffet had a variety of food options as well as good coffee . Menu in the cafe was interesting again with lots of veggie dishes.

The noise from the traffics and the early praying close-by were something you need to consider if you preferred the heritage part of the hotel (not the tower).

Our family stay at the Majestic hotel was all-round great. From the staff to the foods and amenities. Everything was exceptional. Noting to complain about.

The only thing that I feel would have been done to improve our stay was availability of connectivity on TV so that there's access to things like netflix and youtube.

The staff were all amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They should be recognised for what they bring to this hotel. The hotel has two different wings with the original having very classic designed colonial style suites, the newer wing has very modern suites with amazing facilities. Breakfast was amazing with a good wide-ranging selection of options. The pool on the 04th floor was very good and never too busy. It could benefit from a bar service.

It was not a dislike but the property is located slightly further out from KLCC and not easy to walk from. With Grab available and very cheap this was not an issue. The second pool area, outside the spa area, was “closed for maintenance” as was the beauty spa itself. There was no evident maintenance being undertaken.

Amazing lobby and staff. Wonderful pool and facilities. Scrumptious breakfast with wife stay off choices and they were able to cater to my son who is gluten free.

The location is a little removed from the life of the city, but it's an easy grab ride. The room service offering was subpar and didn't offer any starters or desserts.

I usually celebrate birthdays or anniversaries at this hotel Melaka or Kuala and Lumpur, and will make a request before check-in. In the past, the hotel provided a nice special welcome such as a birthday cake slice. However, this time we checked in on my friend’s actual birthday, and there was no special welcoming arrangement. It was disappointing, especially since we drove nearly 5 hours from JB just to celebrate and suprise her. Overall, I still like this hotel, but hope they will be more attentive to special requests in the future.

Overall, the stay was fine. Prior to arrival, I was informed that my anniversary request would be remarked, so I was expecting a small gesture. Unfortunately, there was none during our stay. Hope this can be improved in the future

Has a lovely old world charm on the outside but the rooms are modern and comfortable. Gym and pool were lovely too.

Location might be a bit out of the way but no issues if you drive.
