The Ludlow Hotel, New York

Amazing! Everything was so clean, the location is unbeatable, the hotel is super stylish and cool, we’ll definitely stay here when we come back. Plus, it will now hold a special place in my heart since I got proposed to here! 🤍

It was a great stay. We even got a complimentary upgrade, which was a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean with an amazing view. The only thing I wish they had was a spa, but for what it is, it was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

I wish they had a spa, but besides that it was an amazing stay with incredible views. The elevators also took a while to go up and down, though overall it was still a great experience. Thank you for it!

Excellent location. Easy walking to the Village and subway. Loved the rooms and decor. Quite small but well appointed. Loved the bathrooms amenities. Excellent downstairs bar with a great vibe Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful

There was nothing I did not like. A slightly larger room and bathroom would have been the icing on the cake.

The room size was very generous for New York. We loved the bathroom and balcony, bed was very comfortable and staff where always friendly and helpful. It was a lovely stay.

Overall couldn't fault it, if i was to be picky one thing i would add is that our room was next door to an apartment style room. It seemed there was a large group who had a party, that doesn't bother us but i imagine it could be an issue for guests with children so might be worth double checking.

From the moment you enter, you can tell you’re in a special spot, with the welcoming staff, warm decor & cozy lobby bar. Our room on the 6th floor was spacious with a nice city view. The service was outstanding - all requests were responded to immediately. We enjoyed drinks in the lobby bar before heading to dinner. The location can’t be beat, around the corner from Katz’s deli, Russ & Daughters and Union Market, not to mention many great bars, restaurants, galleries and subway stops.

The gym was tiny and poorly equipped. It would have been nice to have a place onsite to work out, or a partnership with a nearby fitness center.

A hotel with great design throughout the hotel and bar, located a super-fun neighborhood with great restaurants and shops. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, having a little seating area in the double suite was perfect for a group of four to hang out and relax when we weren't out enjoying the city.

Our check in was slightly delayed when we arrived from the train station, maybe 30-40 minutes.

I liked the lighting and the bathroom. The room was a bit small. I loved the black notepads with white pencil. Wish there were btter chocoalte treats in the mini bar, like cookies. I love the front desk staff - Omar in particular.

Found that the staff could do with cheering up a bit, nice to be greeted with a “good morning” or a “Hello” but instead it was just silence when we walked past or they were all hanging around the lobby talking to each other

The location is incredible - central to a lot of great restuarants, shops, close to the metro. The hotel lounge was the highlight - comfortable seating groups, cozy fire, great selection of light fare and teas as well as drinks.

the elevator wait time could be long at times. being a NYC hotel, the room was very small but well decorated. wish for more counter space in the bathroom and bedside table.

I had a corner room and the balcony below sticks out. (Hard to explain but they are very close together giving the balcony below a full view into the above room.) A man was out on his balcony in 20 degree weather peeping into my room.

I have stayed at the Ludllow a few times now, and it never disappoints! Great rooms, restaurant, staff & location

I looooved my stay at the Ludlow. I genuinely screamed when I saw my room - I’m not sure if I got an upgrade, maybe because it was the middle of December and freezing, but I booked a standard room and got a massive terrace with it. The room itself didn’t feel much bigger than the same class in comparable hotels at first, but everything was considered - for one, there was actually space to open one’s suitcase, everything was beautiful, sparkling clean and comfortable, big well lit mirrors, stylish bathroom with plush robes, good natural light in general. The staff was wonderful. And the view from the rooftop terrace is worth it in its own right.

Breakfast service felt a little slow perhaps.

We loved everything about the hotel. We thought it was a great location and easy to get to areas we wanted to explore such as Soho, Greenwich etc. Staff were brilliant and very attentive.

It’s a fantastic hotel with easy access to some of the city’s coolest neighborhoods. The bathrooms are so impressive. Hotel’s free umbrellas came in handy on a rainy day. Roof top is free for guests and worth a stop for the view. I’ve stayed here several times and will be back again.

If your room is facing Ludlow on the weekend, you may hear some of the late night action at street level.

This place really hits different. I chose it because it’s part of Design Hotels, and I was genuinely amazed from the moment I arrived. The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and clean, and the bathroom was something special. I was given a high floor, and the view was spectacular. You can tell the entire hotel was designed by real professionals — the attention to detail is impressive. I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay. The staff were professional yet warm, which made everything even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The only thing that made my stay a bit less comfortable was a strange, constant noise in my room — almost like an AC running, even though it wasn’t on. I had to sleep with earplugs, and even then, the sound had such a weird tone that I could still hear it. If I stay longer next time, I’ll definitely try to get this resolved.

The view of the city was one, of if not the best thing about our room. Second was the bath tub and it was a main deciding factor for the room. Our room had enough space for two and was well equipped with water, snacks, a Nespresso coffee machine and pods — even an umbrella for if it rained and we needed one. The pancakes at Dirty French were the best that I’ve had in my life.

NO REAL NIGHTSTANDS in our room #502 was a real problem. Could not place waters , phone, remote, etc… on a nightstand. Strongly suggest you get this sorted for the price of the rooms.

It was a beautiful room with a great view. For such a small space they utlised well as well. We were delighted when the room was available for early check in as we'd caught a red eye and were exhausted!

There were a lot of expensive things filling up the space that we could buy but took up most of the bedside table. It is expensive but NYC is generally so we were happy with the price. No plant based options on the menu was a real shame.

We were getting civilly married in Manhattan and chose the Ludlow for its location, in walking distance to City Hall and close to some of the best parts of the LES. The facilities were fantastic and the service impeccable: They upgraded our High Floor Queen to a Skybox Loft and gifted us a bottle of prosecco. The rooftop is also stunning - we were able to take photos up there after our City Hall appointment. We ordered room service twice and the food was delicious. I would definitely go to the restaurant next time. Katz's and Russ & Daughters are on the corner - perfect for breakfast!
